Working across cultures gives you exposure. Exposure is not the same as skill.

This premium cohort is for leaders who cannot afford misreads in high-stakes intercultural moments. You may have the experience, the credentials, and the good intentions, but still find yourself losing trust, triggering tension, or misreading what matters in a meeting, a decision, or a difficult conversation. Those nuances and small misreads compound into stalled outcomes, quiet resistance, and avoidable breakdowns in communication and collaboration.

This course is designed to help you stop relying on instinct alone. Through on-demand learning and customized GPT reflections, you will create a clear development path for building cultural capacity, enabling you to gain a deeper understanding of your culture and that of others, to notice what is happening, interpret it more accurately, and choose your response intentionally in real-world leadership moments.

The premium experience includes four live sessions, with cohort size limited to 25 participants to protect interaction quality. Participants submit questions by email before each live session so the live time is focused, scenario-driven, and relevant. Sessions include group IDI interpretation and Q&A. One session includes a guided group activity applying the TAUP Model and the CIA Framework to an intercultural challenge.

Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI®)

This course includes access to the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI®), a research-based assessment that assesses intercultural competence and developmental orientation.

After enrolling, you will receive an email with instructions to complete the IDI®. Completion of the assessment is part of the course experience.

IDI® post-assessment timing

A post-assessment can be taken at any time after the course.

  • The minimum recommended wait time after the first assessment is about 10 weeks.

  • A longer window often shows if there is a change.

  • A practical recommendation is 6 to 12 months.

*This course is available on demand, but once bought, will be available for 9 weeks. After that, your access to the course will expire.
